At A&G Engineering we take a safety-first approach to all of our processes, and our number one priority is that every staff member goes home to their family without incident.
A&G is Australia’s only specialised stainless steel tank fabricator and installer to employ its own qualified and dedicated Work Health & Safety Manager, who reports directly to senior management. A&G’s Safety Management Committee is responsible for ensuring all of A&G’s processes and procedures are in place for the safety of our staff and customers.
A&G has dedicated systems in place that comply with AS 4801 (Occupational Health & Safety), and approach each and every installation with a clear safety-focused and documented plan. Our work often involves working at heights, with elevated work platforms and heavy lifting equipment, and our expert staff undergo regular training programs to ensure that all tasks are completed without incident.
When engaging A&G on your site, you can expect:
- Pre-start-up site visits to ensure the scope of works is completed safely and efficiently, and within specific site restrictions
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) is fully documented
- Site Foreman and staff trained in safety obligations, paperwork and procedural requirements
- Flexibility to work within site-specific guidelines and restrictions
- Compliance with State and National WH&S legislation, including licensing (e.g. various state demolition licence requirements, building licences, etc.)
- Principal Contractor responsibilities as per WH&S legislation (if appointed)
- Daily toolbox talks
- Ongoing site visits, audits and inspections from the A&G WH&S Manager
