Dandenong stainless steel distribution centre opening on 3 February 2020

For fabricators, manufacturers and engineers looking for stainless steel pipe, tube, fittings and flanges, we are delighted to announce that A&G Engineering has established a product distribution centre in Dandenong, Victoria.

A&G CEO, Tom Gallagher said “the last 5-years has seen a significant growth in our stainless componentry business, and with very strong demand in the Melbourne market, a permanent presence represented the next logical step for A&G”.

Mr. Gallagher said “We already have a solid core of customers in Eastern Victoria and we selected Dandenong as our location due to its great transport infrastructure and the availability of a high-quality industrial workforce, and we are delighted to be part of the thriving business community in Melbourne’s South East corridor”.

The Melbourne business will be branded as A&G Stainless Steel and will be managed by Peter Robertson – an experienced member of the A&G management team who after 20 years in Mildura is returning to his roots in Melbourne.

Mr. Robertson said “while there is a lot of support for architectural markets in Melbourne, A&G Stainless Steel will have the largest stockholdings in Victoria of stainless pipe, fittings and flanges for industrial applications such as fluid transfer systems. In addition, we stock AS1528 tube and fittings as well as stainless steel sections and sheet”, and added “we have a team with a wealth of industry knowledge and as experienced fabricators ourselves, we’re a supplier that talks the same language as our stainless steel pipe and fittings customers”.
